How to enter

(nb. in the unlikely event of the race having to be cancelled, all runners will be offered a free entry for the following year.)

On the day:

On the day entries will be available assuming race limit has not been reached (review online entry list to verify before making a wasted journey).  Please arrive in plenty of time to register online (use same link as above).  Cost are +£2 (from standard entry price).  We will be only be accepting online entries on-the-day, so you will need a mobile phone and card (or linked payment via ApplePay / GooglePay).  On-the-day entry will close 20 minutes before the event starts.

Closing date for 'discounted' online entries is Tuesday midnight before the event (at which point the OTD premium is applied) and 7 days prior for postal, or when race limit of 300 is met.

Deferrals and Transfers

If you need to defer your entry, or transfer to another runner then you must follow the instructions detailed here.  Random emails requesting transfers will not be processed.  Be aware there is a deferral deadline which is 5 days before the event takes place, and 2 days for runner transfers.  Requests received after this will not be honoured.  All successful transfers will receive an email confirming (no email confirmation = no transfer).  Runners can only defer their race entry for one year, after that the school thanks you for your kind donation.  Deferred race entry places can not be transferred to a different runner.

Waiting List
If the event is full, you can register via the waiting list.  If a place becomes available we will contact you asking for payment.  If after a few days you have not responded, the place will be offered to the next runner waiting.

Race Numbers

Race Numbers for all entries will need to be collected on the day of the race from Race HQ.  We would ask that you arrive in plenty of time to collect your number.

Prizes and Refreshments

All race finishers will a medal, free refreshments and access to professional photos online after the event, along with awards for first male/female, age category and team prizes.
